ST ANDREW’S CHURCH, KINSON

This characterful medieval church is located in a picturesque churchyard tucked in the centre of Kinson in Bournemouth. The church is bright and airy and has recently been modernised with underfloor heating and pew cushions for added comfort and cosiness. Concerts take place in the church with toilet facilities and bar located in the adjacent church hall. There is a small car park on site, two public car parks in Kinson and ample free parking in the streets around.

GETTING THERE AND PARKING
There is a small car park on site and lots of unrestricted free parking on the streets immediately around. There are public car parks behind the library (Kinson Hub) on Millhams Lane, and also in front of Pelhams House.
Kinson is well served by buses, stopping at Kinson Library, a short walk from the church.

ACCESSIBILITY
The church and church hall are level access. There is an accessible toilet located in the adjoining church hall. There is a car park to the rear of the church, continue past the church to the end of the lane and turn left to enter. Access from the car park to the church and hall is up a short fairly steep tarmac slope with handrail. There are a couple of parking spaces at front of the church with level access into the paved churchyard. Wheelchairs can be accommodated at the front of the left side aisle and the rear centre of the nave.
Concerts take place in the church building. Seating is on pews arranged in four blocks with a central nave and two aisles. You are welcome to bring a cushion to sit on! Lighting is static, white lights on the performers and coloured uplighters highlighting the chancel. The bar and toilets are located in the church hall next to the church.
Trinity United Church, Ringwood
Built in the 1860’s with a foundation stone dated to 1863 Trinity is in the gothic style and is grade 2 listed. The natural acoustics are wonderful.
The building was extended in 2002 which now offers the Trinity centre with meeting rooms, foyer gathering area, activity hall, offices and toilet facilities.
Seat pads are provided in the first floor pews but you may want to bring your own cushion for comfort if you are going up there.

From the West via M27 and A31: Continue on the M27 west as it becomes the A31 dual carriageway, the approach to Ringwood is down the long Poulner Hill, take the Ringwood exit and turn left off the roundabout towards the town centre. At the second roundabout go straight on following the road to Christchurch, at the second pelican crossing turn left into the Quomp, pass School Lane, the Trinity Centre car park is the second driveway on the right.
From the East via A31 Wimborne or Bournemouth (A338): Heading east along the A31 the road spits into 4 lanes, two that turn off towards Salisbury and Ringwood, and two that continue as the A31 towards Southampton. Take the second lane exit to Ringwood and turn right at the roundabout. At the second roundabout go straight on following the road to Christchurch, at the second pelican crossing turn left into the Quomp, pass School Lane, the Trinity Centre car park is the second driveway on the right.
From the South via B3347 Christchurch Road: Approaching Ringwood from the south, go straight ahead at the first roundabout, you will pass the fire station and then pass Trinity Church on the right. At the that roundabout bear right and take the first right into the Quomp, pass School Lane, the Trinity Centre car park is the second driveway on the right.
From the North via A338: Go under the A31 interchange and take the second exit at the roundabout. At the second roundabout go straight on following the road to Christchurch, at the second pelican crossing turn left into the Quomp, pass School Lane, the Trinity Centre car park is the second driveway on the right.
Car Parking: The Trinity Centre has space for 27 cars off the Quomp. Should this be full the next nearest public car park is the Blynkbonnie – follow the Christchurch Road past Greyfriars and Daryl’s Fishbar and turn left. After you have parked, pedestrians can walk through the Greyfriars grounds to the Trinity Centre.
Car parking for the Wesley Centre is in the Blynkbonnie public car park behind the centre.
Public Car parks in Ringwood are free to use after 6pm.
Managed Parking: The Trinity Church car park is privately run and operates under an automated camera system.
Charges and restrictions apply Monday to Saturday. There are no disabled/blue badge concessions.

The pay machine is located in the car park and easily identified.
Payment is cashless and can be made by smartphone app or card.
ACCESSIBILITY
There is level access on the ground floor with ramps to the main doors onto the Christchurch Road. There are two adapted toilets with handrails and assistance alarms.
